Project Details:

Allen & Son were involved in two phases of refurbishment at the Wychwood hotel. The first was 110 bedrooms and the second included the public areas on the first and ground floors. The hotel needed modernisation to create a quality offering.

The project was programmed into tight phases, which we monitored closely. Having already worked with the client previously they were confident that we would deliver on time and within budget.

Work included:

Bedrooms:

• Alteration of all services within bedrooms, suites, and corridors
• Installation of new lighting and small power including TV and data services
• Installation of new lighting and emergency lighting to corridors

Public areas:

• Strip out and alternation of electrical services in trade areas
• Installation of specialised bespoke LED tape to bespoke to various areas
• Installation of a new dimming control system to separate restaurant, bar, and main trade areas
• Installation of new downlights, track lighting, and feature pendants
• Installation of new sockets, data points, TV points, and floor boxes
• Added RCD protection to the existing circuits
